Every student deserves a strong foundation.

The Brea Education Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to developing resources to support a world-class school system that advances educational opportunities within the Brea community.

Our Support for Brea’s Schools

The foundation supports Brea's students through programs for at-risk students such as Project Kinship, scholarships for graduating seniors through the Stack-Waggener Scholarship, and other methods, such as grants for teachers, the robotics teams at the junior high and high school.

Project Kinship

Since 2018, the Brea Education Foundation has funded Project Kinship, a restorative practices program at Brea Olinda High School, Brea Canyon High School, and Brea Junior High School and previously Arovista Elementary School and Laurel Elementary School.

Stack-Waggener Scholarship in Math and Science

The Stack-Waggener Scholarship in Math and Science provides merit-based student aid to students graduating from Brea Olinda High School pursuing degrees in Math, Physics, Computer Sciences, or Engineering.

“BEF makes the difference between a school that merely provides, and a school that thrives.”
